TDI Intro to Tech
The TDI Intro to Tech is the perfect course for divers who want to find out more about technical diving. The objective is to familiarise students with technical diving gear and kit configurations in order
to enhance their open water diving skills.
What you learn
You'll learn to improve your open water diving skills, such as buoyancy, trim, and situational awareness, and gain an introduction into advanced gas planning techniques. This course is strictly a no-decompression course; students are permitted to use Enriched Air Nitrox mixes, provided the gas mix is within their current level of certification.
Qualification gained
Upon successful completion you will be certified to engage in diving activities using technical diving gear configuration. You will receive a TDI certification card and certificate.
Pre-requisites
To enrol on this course, you must:
- be a minimum age of 18
- hold a minimum certification of Advanced Diver or equivalent
- be able to provide proof of 25 logged open water dives
Course structure
3 days. 1 day for classroom and dive preparation.
A minimum of 3 dives not exceeding 26m on any dive.
Equipment
You will need a full set of diving kit. We offer equipment rental if required, at a discounted rate.
