Inspiration
The Inspiration rebreather works on electronic controlled 02 injection
which means that as 02 becomes metabolized by our bodies, the system automatically
replaces the used 02 with fresh gas. The other major difference of the
closed circuit system is that it maintains a constant P02 during the dive.
This means that instead of planning a mix for a given depth, the rebreather
constantly changes the mix to suit the depth you are at. This way the
system is continually changing the 02 content to maximize 02 levels, and
therefore minimize N2 levels.
TDI CCR Entry Level Module 1
This is the entry level certification course for recreational divers wishing
to utilise the Buddy Inspiration Closed Circuit Rebreather. The objective
of this course is to train recreational divers in the benefits, hazards
and proper procedures for CCR diving and to develop basic rebreather diving
skills appropriate to diving within the normal recreational depth limits
of 40m for no decompression diving. Upon successful completion of this
course, graduates may dive with the Buddy Inspiration rebreather to a
maximum depth of 40m using a normoxic O2 content diluent.
Prerequisites: Advanced Nitrox and a minimum of
50 open water dives.

TDI CCR Mixed Gas Diver
The TDI CCR Mixed Gas Diver course is a mainly practical skills based
course building on the knowledge developed during the Module 1 course
and the Open Circuit Tri-Mix course. The objective of this course is to
train in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for mixed gas rebreather
diving on the Buddy Inspiration CCR and to develop advanced rebreather
diving skills appropriate to technical diving to depths greater than 40m,
utilizing diluent other than air. Learn the advanced requirements of closed
circuit dive planning including bailout options and correct diluent selection.
Upon successful completion of this course, graduates may dive with the
Buddy Inspiration rebreather using a diluent of Air, Tri-Mix or Heliox.
Prerequisites: TDI Open Circuit Tri-Mix Diver (or
equivalent at instructors discretion). Buddy Inspiration Module 1 CCR
Diver with 100 hours of dive time on the unit over a minimum of 100 dives.
Proof of at least 25 technical dives.
Course Duration: 5 days
