You can complete the PADI Rescue Diver program in three days. During this time you will cover the basic theory presentations and complete and discuss knowledge reviews for your chosen dives. You will practice and perfect 10 different rescue techniques then put them into use when you organize and take part in 2 realistic diving incident scenarios.

There is a training manual for you to read as part of your course which includes all of the theory you need to learn.

As with all of the courses we limit the number of students on the course to four for your safety and enjoyment and you can learn to become a Rescue Diver with the knowledge that you are being taught by a highly experienced professional diving instructor.

Course Objectives
Rescue Diver Training expands your knowledge of diving, increases your level of diving skill and makes you more aware of the diving environment. Most importantly the training you undertake on the course can help you save lives and increase diving safety by preparing you to respond properly to diving emergencies and near emergencies.

Rescue training will take you further than just knowing ‘how to rescue a diver’. You will acquire the skills of self reliance and know how to care for yourself and your equipment first of all, then learn how to look out for other divers and be aware of their behaviour and attitudes, observing and noting how things may effect you later: anticipating, assessing and acting where necessary.

Your Rescue Diver certification will be much respected and other divers will feel safer diving with you happy in the knowledge that you have the skills to know what to do if something didn’t go exactly to plan.
