Getting the basics right is important whatever you do, in diving this is even more so. The PADI Open Water Course has been developed over many years and is supported by the finest training materials in the business. You can choose to learn from a book, video and multi media CD Rom or a combination of all three. Because PADI Certify more divers than all the other training agencies added together you can be assured that your PADI qualification will be recognised wherever you choose to dive.

The Course materials that we supply you with, included in the course price will be your main study materials for the course. They will also act as a reference manual in later years. Also contained in the pack will be your own personnel Recreational Dive Planner to enable you to plan your dives during the course and in the future. In addition, you will receive a logbook, this will act as your record of training completed during the Open Water course and any subsequent course.

Once you have successfully completed the course you will receive your certification card (similar to the new driving licence) showing your photo and qualification details. This card will be your passport to the Underwater World. You must allow a maximum of five days to complete the course. It can be completed over 5 consecutive days (Monday to Friday) or two whole weekends.
 
The course itself consists of five classroom presentations, four hours in the pool to cover five pool sessions and then four Open Water dives at one of the local sites. We limit the number of students on the course to a maximum of four, for your safety and enjoyment. You can learn to dive with the knowledge that you are in the safe hands of a highly experienced professional diving instructor. All our diver training courses are conduced in accordance with HSE Codes of Practice.
