BSAC Advanced Nitrox Diver
The BSAC Advanced Nitrox course teaches you to plan and execute decompression dives using nitrox blends up to 50% oxygen, as both a dive and deco gas.
What you learn
Safe use of up to EANx 50 as both a diving and decompression gas.
Safe use BSAC Nitrox Decompression Tables.
Safe use of Nitrox and Air Computers.
Qualification gained
Upon successful completion you will receive the Advanced Nitrox Diver Certificate and qualification record book certificate. Qualifying as a BSAC Advanced Nitrox diver opens up the opportunity to dive deeper, accessing more challenging sites.
Pre-requisites
To enrol in the BSAC Combined Nitrox Diver course, you must:
- be a minimum 14 years old
- hold a BSAC Sports Diver qualification, or equivalent
- have full BSAC diving membership
- have a BSAC certificate of fitness
- have a minimum of 20 open water dives
Course structure
2 days. Classroom studies on day one, followed by 2 open water dives on day two.
Equipment
You will need a full set of diving kit. We offer equipment rental if required, at a discounted rate.
